Afton Alps has continued to invest in the improvement of snow conditions.
Afton has once again purchases new snow machines along with new grooming
equipment. We have made the decision to continue to invest in these
upgrades to ensure some of the best snow conditions around.
Great improvements to our Meadows learning terrain will thrill families this
season. We have added to our Wonder Carpets and changed the terrain to make
for a more learning friendly facility. Our goal is to make it easier to
learn and take part in our programs, both for the participant and the
parents.
Afton Alps Rental Shops have prided themselves on having high quality
current rental equipment. Every year we re-invest in our gear. We have
purchased 500+ skis and bindings this season, as well as added smaller sizes
in our snowboard fleet to accommodate even the youngest of riders.
Our ski and ride school is one of the biggest and best in the Midwest with
lessons available for beginners all the way to racing. New programs are
always in the mix. This year we have a new Ski and Ride Simplified program
that accommodates even the busiest of schedules. It includes 3 lift
tickets, 3 lessons, and 3 rental for $84.95. What makes this program so
great is the obvious value, but also the flexibility to take these lessons
on your schedule. You pick the dates. Upon completing this program skiers
and riders will be given valuable discounts on future experiences at our
area.
Afton Alps offers so much so close to the Twin Cities. Great for the day
trip or the weekend mini vacation.
